The Extended School provision aims to compliment the whole school curriculum and create a welcoming, caring environment where relationships are based on mutual respect and to develop positive self-esteem in each child.
Our teachers run a club each week and the Teaching Assistants and Mealtime Supervisors support on a rota basis with a core group of permanent staff. All of our staff are fully trained teachers, teaching or early year assistants who are first aid trained. The designated person for Safeguarding and Child Protection is Maria Collins (Extended School Manager).
Who runs the Extended School Provision.
Our Extended School Manager is Mrs Collins. Mrs Collins is an experienced Classroom practitioner and has been with the school for a number of years, covering a wide variety of roles including Higher Level Teaching Assistant to Intervention Support for groups of children as well as Mentoring and Welfare roles. She also finds time to organise and co-ordinate the various competitions the children are involved in such as football and swimming.
