This week, the pupils had the exciting opportunity to meet the author of the book, When Secrets Set Sail – Sita Brahmachari. The book is all about transition and change, a fitting story to discuss with change on the horizon. The pupils did a deep dive of the characters, with emphasis placed on empathizing with how they could be feeling with so much change in their lives.
In Science, the pupils carried on with Inheritance & Evolution by looking at how animals are adapted to suit their environments. The focus of our investigation was invertebrates, seeing as we had plenty to observe in our forest area!
A reminder to all parents, if you have not sent a photo of your child when they were younger, please can you do so as soon as possible to allow teachers t\time o incorporate all students into the graduation ceremony.
