What a fantastic way to end our first half term in Year 3! The children have worked incredibly hard over the past few weeks and have shown great enthusiasm, determination, and kindness in everything they do.
This week was particularly special as both Emerald Class and Green Class led their Prayer Services. Each class took time to reflect on the theme of Community and Participation, one of our important Catholic Social Teaching principles. The children shared thoughtful prayers and reflections about how we can all play a part in building a caring, welcoming, and supportive community — both in school and beyond.
We were so proud of the way the children spoke clearly and confidently, showing great respect and understanding. One of the highlights of the services was hearing everyone join together to sing “Shine, Jesus, Shine” so beautifully. Their joyful voices filled the hall and reminded us all of the light of Jesus shining through our actions every day.

It has been such a positive and productive half-term. The children have settled into Year 3 brilliantly and should feel very proud of everything they have achieved. We hope everyone has a relaxing and enjoyable break — ready to come back refreshed and ready for more exciting learning next half term!
Well done, Year 3 — you truly shine!
