This week, the pupils had the privilege of being visited by Katie & Kevin Tsang. The children were incredibly excited to talk to the co-authors of the ‘bestselling’ Dragon Realm series books. The pupils engaged in a fun workshop where they came up with their own dragon – which may appear in the next book – as well as having the opportunity to ask the authors questions. The pupils came up with some riveting questions – who’s your favourite dragon and why? What gave you the inspiration to focus on dragons as the vehicles of your books? We hope that this has enthused and/or motivated our pupils to continue reading, as we know, “Reading is essential for those who want to rise above the ordinary,” – Jim Rohn.
As we know, the pupils are ready to set sail to the beautiful Isle of Wight for their residential. A reminder to all parents: please ensure the pupils arrive promptly at 8.30am on Monday. Their suitcases should be left on the playground, where Mrs Feeley & Mrs Cowell will be. We intend to set off on our journey in the coach at 9.15am. The ‘what to bring to PGL’ and itinerary will be posted on Google Classroom for any last-minute packing!
