This week, Year 5 returned to school refreshed and ready for an exciting new term. Indigo Class had the honour of leading the school Mass, focusing on St Paul of the Cross. They spoke beautifully about his life and dedication to prayer, setting a reflective and peaceful tone for the week.
In our art lessons, we began our new unit on Art Installations. The children were full of enthusiasm as we explored how artists use space, objects, and creativity to express powerful ideas and emotions. We’re excited to see where their imaginations take them!
Throughout the week, we also took moments for quiet reflection and prayer as we remembered the late Pope and gave thanks for his service to the Church. We continue to pray for Pope Francis as he leads the Catholic community with wisdom and compassion.
It’s been a thoughtful, creative, and spiritual start to the new term.
