This week Year 5 took part in our Key Stage 1- and 2-Sports Day event. They took part in a running race, a relay race and an obstacle race. It was great to see Year 5 show off their sportsmanship; rooting each other on and supporting each other so well. It was really fun to see so many of the parents and carers there, and the children really enjoyed cheering on their adults in the parents’ and carers’ race as well as the teacher’s races!
A huge thank you is needed for Mr Grant for organising such a fun-filled day for us!
Year 5 were also lucky enough to visit Bishop Douglas this week to watch their end of year performance of Matilda. It was fantastic seeing the secondary students show-case their talents. Year 5 were wonderful and supportive audience members. An excellent time was had by all!
