This week, Tanzanite Class had the special opportunity to attend a morning Mass service at St Gabriel’s and St Joseph’s Church in Archway. The visit was a peaceful and intimate experience, as our class was the only school group present, joined by just a few members of the local parish community. The children were warmly welcomed by Father Moses, who led a meaningful and engaging service. One of the highlights was the chance for students to have a dialogue with Father Moses, asking questions and sharing reflections about the Mass and their faith. It was a lovely moment of connection and learning. During the service, the children learned about the importance of guardian angels—our constant companions who guide and protect us. This message really resonated with the class and sparked thoughtful discussion afterwards. To finish off the morning, the students were treated to some delicious cookies and cordial, generously provided by the church. It was a lovely way to end a reflective and enriching experience. We are very proud of how respectfully and thoughtfully the children participated throughout the visit, and we look forward to more opportunities to deepen their understanding of faith and community.
