Our Year 5 students have been hard at work completing their latest writing task and the results are truly impressive! After drafting their stories in the English book, they brought their narratives to life by publishing them on the computer. This process not only honed their writing skills but also introduced them to the art of digital presentation.
This week, Year 5 students gathered for a special prayer and liturgy focused on the theme of forgiveness. Through scripture readings, prayers and discussions, we explored the importance of forgiving others and seeking forgiveness ourselves. The liturgy served as a gentle reminder of God’s mercy and how acts of forgiveness bring us closer to Him and to one another. As we journey together in faith, we encourage students to embody this spirit of compassion and reconciliation in their daily lives.
Today, our students took full advantage of the beautiful weather by enjoying their P.E. sessions outdoors. The fresh air and sunshine added an extra spark of joy and enthusiasm to their learning. It was wonderful to see everyone actively engaged and thriving.
Congratulations to our Year 5 cricket team for their outstanding performance in this year’s tournament! Their hard work, teamwork and determination were on full display as they competed with passion and sportsmanship. We are incredibly proud of their achievement and the way they represented our school community. Well done, Year 5. You are truly champions on and off the field!
