It’s been a thoughtful and enriching week in Year 5, with each class taking part in valuable learning experiences.
Tanzanite and Indigo classes had the opportunity to visit the Ben Kinsella Trust. During their visit, they explored a powerful and interactive exhibition focused on the dangers and consequences of knife crime. The children learned about how choices can affect lives, the importance of staying safe, and how to make positive decisions. They engaged respectfully and asked mature, insightful questions throughout the visit. We’re very proud of the way they represented our school.
Back at school, Turquoise Class took part in an exciting environmental workshop led by Miss Sophia. As part of the session, the class explored the school grounds, identified local wildlife, and came up with creative ideas to make our school more eco-friendly. Their enthusiasm for caring for the environment was truly inspiring.
Enjoy a safe and restful half-term!
