This week has been a memorable one for Year 5, filled with meaningful moments and fun activities!
On Wednesday, we marked the beginning of Lent with a special Ash Wednesday Mass. It was a beautiful and reflective service, reminding us all of the significance of this season and giving us a chance to think about ways we can grow spiritually over the next 40 days.
Thursday was a day full of excitement as we celebrated World Book Day! It was such a lovely opportunity to connect with the younger students in the nursery by reading them stories. Their faces lit up with joy as we shared books together! In the afternoon, Year 5 took part in a fun quiz, joined by children from all different year groups. It was a great way to celebrate our love for reading while seeing all the creative costumes! We had students dressed as everything from classic characters to more modern heroes, making it a day full of imagination and creativity.
Overall, it was a week of reflection, learning, and fun, and Year 5 made the most of every moment! We can’t wait to see what next week brings
