On Thursday Year 3 headed to Walton on the Naze for our beach trip. When we boarded the bus it was raining and Mr. Forbes was very concerned. However, when we arrived the sun was splitting the trees. We all jumped off the bus and made our way to the golden sands of Walton on the Naze. Before we hopped into the water we enjoyed our picnic lunch. Then we bombed down to the waves. The pupils had a fantastic time wave hopping whilst trying to avoid the flying seaweed courtesy of Mrs. Lynch. After we enjoyed our time in the water we got dried off and sat on our towels to enjoy an ice cream in the sun. It was bliss!! We finished off the day with games on the beach before boarding the coach to make our journey home.
What a day!
