What a busy week we have had in year 3. The week was off to a flying start with our fabulous sports day. In year 3 we are so proud of each and every pupil who took part and tried their very best. We saw some fantastic examples of determination, athleticism, and good sportsmanship. Congratulations to St. Georges for winning the house plaque. Year 3 did not let the rain get the better of them.
In Science this week we carried out an investigation that explored the composition of soil. Pupils had the opportunity to closely study soil samples and record their findings. In History, we were studying the discovery of fire during the Stone Age and its evolution over time. Pupils were able to identify the important role that fire played in the lives of prehistoric people.
Have a lovely weekend,
Miss Jennings, Ms Leedham and Mr Murphy
