Wow! What a productive and busy week in year 3!
We have spent this week learning an abundance of new facts and information about our local history. Our theme this week was ‘The Whittington.’ Pupils had an opportunity to dive deep into the history of Whittington hospital, exploring it’s interesting past. We had great fun learning all about Windrush nurses, the Whittington’s timeline and the different remedies they used in the past to treat patients.
On Thursday we celebrated ‘World Book Day.’ Pupils came into school in fantastic costumes and had an opportunity to create a biography for their chosen figure. Myself and Mr Forbes were so impressed by the huge effort which went into all of the costumes and accessories.
Have a lovely weekend!
Miss Jennings and Mr Forbes.
