We have had another fun and exciting week in year 3 to end another fantastic half term!
We would like to start by congratulating our 4 Year 3 representatives for the ‘Speak Out’ challenge. They spoke amazingly on Wednesday night and were fantastic ambassadors for our year group. In other areas of school life, pupils have been publishing their extended return narratives and finishing our topics with assessments to test what they have learned throughout the term.
We ended the week with our sponsored bounce and a Platinum Jubilee picnic. The whole school came together today to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s 70-year reign. We started our day with a sponsored bounce which the pupils thoroughly enjoyed. Everyone in year 3 looked fantastic in their red white and blue. In class, we completed Jubilee party invitations and spent time learning more about Queen Elizabeth’s time on the throne through reading comprehensions.
