What a busy week we have had in year 3 with lots of practice taking place for Green Class’s assembly and Emerald Class’s prayer service. Green Class did a fantastic job, of delivering a fascinating and engaging story about prehistoric Britain. They performed with confidence and enthusiasm, we are all so proud!
In other areas of the curriculum, we completed further investigations in Science surrounding one of our focuses ‘soil’. Pupils were completing observations and setting up practical investigations. Pupils made excellent predictions and came to the conclusion that soil does contain air. In History, we completed an extended piece of writing about what we had learned on our visit to Celtic Harmony. In addition, in English, we began our non-fiction focus for this half term which is animal reports.
