It is safe to say that after a busy week our pupils are ready for a long weekend! We have had a jam-packed week of learning and fun in year 3. The main focus of our week has been the start of our ‘Speak Out’ challenge. We have heard some fantastic for and against arguments so far and we are looking forward to hearing the rest on Tuesday. Pupils spoke with confidence and conviction indicating well-researched debate topics.
In other areas of the curriculum, pupils have been exploring their Science topic ‘Food and Our Bodies.’ Pupils had the opportunity to investigate the different food groups and their important role in supporting the body. In English, we wrote our return letters based on the vehicle text ‘Jemmy Button.’ In History, we were learning about the importance of listed buildings and identified important listed buildings in our local area.
We hope you have a fantastic weekend!
