Year 3 have had another super week! In English, we have been working hard on using adverbs in our paragraphs to add more detail. The children have really impressed us with the way they are beginning to use adverbs thoughtfully and effectively, making their writing more exciting and descriptive. It’s wonderful to see how much care and creativity they are putting into their work, and the progress they are showing week by week is truly fantastic.
In our Celebration of the Word, we reflected on Isaiah 64:8: “Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.” The children had a beautiful discussion about how we are all unique and special in our own ways. They also shared their special talents, recognising how each of us has been wonderfully made by God, and how we can use these gifts to help and support others. It was inspiring to see how thoughtful and reflective the children were during this time.
Another stunning week of learning, sharing, and growing together—well done, Year 3! We are so proud of you all and can’t wait to see what next week brings.
