Year 2: Yellow Class Prayer Service

On Wednesday last week, Yellow class had a beautiful prayer service. Our prayers were based on the Beatitudes, which show Jesus’ teaching about happiness. The children encouraged us all to think about happiness and understand difference between the short-lived happiness we get when we eat an ice cream, compared to the deeper happiness of knowing God loves us The Beatitudes give a guide to living a Christian life, and the saints show us how this looks in practice – so we can be inspired by them as role models. The 1^st of November was All Saint’s Day, so this prayer service was a perfect reminder to be inspired by the saints!
