Year 2 pupils had an exciting day trip to Walton on the Naze beach. After a two-hour coach journey, the children eagerly arrived at the beach and immediately had lunch. They then set about building magnificent sandcastles. They splashed in the water, laughing and playing, and took the time to collect beautiful shells along the shoreline. Some even had fun burying their friends in the sand up to their necks! To top off the day, everyone enjoyed a delicious ice cream before boarding the coach for the journey back to school. It’s fair to say there were lots of sleepy heads on the way back!
