This week in Religion, Year 2 have been learning about the importance of making good choices. The children worked together to sort action cards into good choices and not good choices, thinking carefully about how our actions affect others. We had some wonderful discussions about how we can follow Jesus’ example by being kind, honest, and helpful every day.

As part of our reflection on thankfulness and generosity, we also took time to think about how we can help those in need during our Harvest Festival. The children were proud to bring in donations for the local food bank, showing care and compassion for others in our community.
We are so proud of the children for showing such thoughtful understanding, both in their learning and in their actions. Their kindness and generosity truly show the love of God in action.

Through this learning, the children lived out the Catholic Social Teaching principles of Solidarity and Peace and Human Dignity – recognising that we are all part of one family and that every person deserves respect, care, and love.
