This week has been a really fun but busy week for Year 2! On Tuesday, the children put on a fantastic Nativity production. They wore beautiful costumes and sang lovely songs. All the parents came to watch, and we were so proud of them! Everyone worked together, and it was wonderful to see their smiles as they performed on stage. It was a wonderful celebration of the true meaning of Christmas!
Later in the week, we went on an exciting trip to St Paul’s Cathedral. This was a special visit that linked with our history topic about the Great Fire of London. The children learned how the fire started and how it affected the city. They really enjoyed exploring the cathedral and were amazed by its stunning architecture. It was fascinating to see how it stood strong after the fire, symbolising hope and resilience.
After our visit, the students shared their favourite parts of the trip and drew pictures of the cathedral. We have definitely created some lovely memories this week, filled with joy and learning!
