This week has been super busy, but we’ve packed in so many exciting learning opportunities! First, we had our assessments, which were important to show what we’ve learned. But that’s not all; we also got to visit our amazing art exhibition called Where is God? It was wonderful to see our own artwork displayed, and we felt really proud of how much we have all grown as artists. We also admired the beautiful creations from other students, which inspired us a lot.
We were lucky enough to attend a virtual talk from Baroness Floella Benjamin OBE. She shared her experiences of coming to England and the challenges she faced growing up. Baroness Floella reminded us of the importance of being ourselves, staying true to who we are and standing up for what is right even though that might not be easy. Her story was very thought provoking, and we all left feeling motivated and inspired.
On a fun note, we took part in a sponsored bounce in the sunshine! There were amazing unicorn bouncy castles, and even the teachers joined in on the fun. It was such a joyful experience with the bubbles. Thank you to the PFA for organising.
Finally, we visited Nursery classes to see the newly hatched chicks. They are so fluffy! It was a delight to see new life being welcomed into the world. Truly God’s creation. Overall, it’s been a fantastic week full of learning, inspiration, and joyful moments.
