This week, we have been busy in English learning about alliteration, we discussed that alliteration is when two or more words have the same initial sound. We played a game of alliteration snap in pairs. We then matched up the alliteration words and used them in a sentence. Our challenge was to use more than one alliteration pair in a sentence. Authors use alliteration in their writing to engage their reader and later on in the week when we began writing, we tried to include this in our big writes!
In Religion, we have been learnign about what the priest does during a mass and what parishioners do during a mass. We came up with our own questions that we could ask Father George next time we see him. We also visited the Church to explore some of the key features and also pray for loved ones whilst we were there.
