Well done Emerald Class for a fantastic performance of our ‘Stone Age Assembly’ on Friday. We were taken on a journey to the Stone Age and thanks to some very informative ‘archaeologists’ we learnt all about life in the past – from hunter gatherers to woolly mammoths. We were also treated to a dramatised performance of ‘Ug – the Boy Genius’ and learnt how the story relates to our school learning powers – independent thinker, collaborator, risk-taker and reflector. The audience was amazed by our singing, dancing and confident performance – not to mention the surprise arrival of our very own woolly mammoth!
A HUGE THANK YOU to all the parents and carers who came to watch our assembly and of course for all the support and preparation at home not only in helping the children to learn their lines and song words but also for the amazing Stone Age outfits!!
We hope you enjoy watching our assembly all over again!
