Hello!
It has been yet another non-stop week in Year 6 with the children working extremely hard. On Thursday, the children arrived into school as their favourite book character to celebrate World Book Day. The children had gone to lots of effort to find, buy or even make their outfits in preparation for the day. Whether it was the Mad Hatter, Where’s Wally or Tutankhamun, the children all looked fantastic! It was a brilliant day and the children thoroughly enjoyed it.
In other news…. it was that time again…Pancake Races!!! On Tuesday, children and staff took part in pancake relay races with their Saint’s houses. We had a brilliant competition and all of the children who took part did their teams proud! The children have also been participating in The Daily Mile, and already it is evident that the children are making great progress. The children are showing a mature attitude towards the scheme and are extremely motivated to achieve their personal goals. It is great that the children are working well to help and support each other every day. Keep it up!
