On Monday Year 3 were invited to Archway Library to take part in a St. Patrick’s themed story telling event led by Kate Corkery and special guest – the Mayor of Islington! The children were engaged through songs and actions in retelling some traditional Irish tales. As usual, our children demonstrated excellent behaviour and listening skills and were a credit to St. Joseph’s!
We are looking forward to sharing the stories children have written for homework based on one of Kate’s tales – the Blacksmith and the Giant.
