What a fantastic start to the year it has been! We’ve had such a wonderful first three days together in Year 3, and it’s been lovely to see everyone settling in so well.
Already, we are so impressed with the positive learning behaviours the children have been showing—curiosity, kindness, resilience, and enthusiasm are shining through in every lesson. It has been a joy to watch friendships growing, routines being embraced, and a real excitement for learning filling our classrooms.
This week we have also spent time reflecting on our school prayer. Together, we thought carefully about what the words mean to us and how they guide us in our daily lives at school. The children shared some thoughtful ideas about how we can live out the values of our faith—through kindness, respect, and supporting one another. It was a special moment of reflection as we began our year together.
We are really looking forward to all that this term (and the whole year!) has in store. From new topics and creative projects, to challenges and achievements, we know it’s going to be a year full of growth and success.
Well done Year 3—you’ve made a brilliant start, and we can’t wait to continue this journey with you!
