This week has been a non-stop carousel of fun here at Year 3.
On Wednesday, the children celebrated their Vintage Fair on the Key Stage One playground. The playground was transformed into an arena of summer activities. There were penalty shootouts, bouncy castles, magicians and lots of treats. On top of this, the children got to sample Mr Forbes’ woodfired pizza! The cherry on top was when the children (and staff) got the amazing opportunity to throw wet sponges at Mr Prescott!
On Thursday, the children got the fantastic opportunity to meet The Mayor of Islington – Councillor Troy Gallagher. The Mayor came to launch the Summer reading challenge and went on to explain his favourite book – Oliver Twist. The children are very thankful to have met The Mayor and could hardly contain their excitement!
