Violet Class took inspiration from a famous Japanese artist – Hokusai to recreate their own versions of the ‘The Great Wave’. They chose different media (pastel, watercolour and collage) to complete their final pieces. The children then researched tsunamis to find out what causes them and the consequences when they occur. The last deadliest tsunami hit the Indonesian coast on 26th December 2004.
