Over the past two weeks, Year 3 have had the opportunity to explore the birds we have in our local area.
The children were shown lots of birds and had to help identify them using their sounds and feathers. Children even became birds and had to use their call to find the other birds in their flock.
All children took part in the bird watch and spotted many different kinds on our walk to Waterlow Park including Robins, Magpies, Crows and Woodpeckers just to name a few.
The children made a note of the birds they saw and will enter their information on the RSPB website so they can have a clear picture of the local birds in Archway and Highgate.
A big thank you to Sophia and the helpers from Islington Council.
