We made it to mid-term! Our final week before the holidays has been a busy one. We started our week with a continuation of our persuasive writing extracts for the Islington Gazette. Pupils used their understanding of exaggeration, opinion and facts to try and persuade the people of London to buy their woolly hats for winter. On Wednesday we had our fabulous stone age day. The pupils all made such an effort to dress up and all really looked the part. We took part in a Stone age battle out in the woodland. Both classes went head to head to defend their territory using their spectacular stone age weapons. Next, we had a carousel of stations such as clay modelling, cave painting and a Stone Age menu station. To finish off the half term, today pupils have participated in our Caritas in action day. Pupils have explored how Christians are connected and ways in which we as Christians can strengthen those connections in our daily lives.
Have a lovely, safe and happy half term!
