Wow! What a busy week!
We have enjoyed a fun-packed week this week in Year Four — both classes emerged in the Roman Empire through our Roman day. The children dressed up in ancient Roman attire and even had a colossal battle involving swords and shields, which they made and designed during our Design and Technology lesson.
The children began writing their narrative stories in English, which has allowed us to be transported to lands far away and has given the children the opportunity to create a hooking start to their expected stories.
The children enjoyed St. Patrick’s day on Wednesday, and both classes were filled with a sea of green to mark the occasion. We had a lovely end to our week when we remembered the work of St.Joseph, our school’s patron Saint.
Well done to everyone on another great week! A special mention of our stars of the week!
