This week in Reception, we explored how God created the world. We listened to Genesis 1:31 which said: ‘God looked at everything He had made, and indeed, it was very good.’ The children then created different things God had made in the world. Some children decided to create flowers by painting, some children sorted different animals into different categories such as animals that live on land, sea and sky. Some children drew a rabbit and the sea! All part of God’s wonderful creation.
In maths, we have begun subitising within 3! Which included spotting different numbers without even counting them. We matched different amounts and used finger paints to explore different patterns with numbers!
