We were treated to a fun and fascinating visit from the author Emer Stamp this week. She is the creator of the Diary of a Pig and PESTS series.
Emer began by going round the children with her special detector, looking for pests. Incredibly, she didn’t find any!
She then talked to us about her books, the inspiration behind them and the process of writing. The workshop finished with a quiz, which included some mind-boggling facts. You’ll never believe the width a mouse can squeeze itself through (ask your children to tell you)!
Everyone went away inspired, so we look forward to reading some amazing writing from them after this Emer Stamp masterclass!
