This year St Joseph’s is encouraging our children to learn as much as they can from the environment around us. OUTSIDE of the classroom.
This week we have taken some of our Maths and English lessons alongside Science…
We have been reading Fantastic Mr Fox in English and have produced some amazing stories written from the perspective of Mr Fox! In order to achieve this we have been thinking about the senses of Mr Fox and put ourselves into his shoes!
To do this we have been around the woodland area reading snippets of the book to encourage descriptive language and identifying what we can; see, smell, hear and touch.
If you want to see some the other things we’ve been up to take a look on the school twitter account! Give us a follow by following this link!
