What a fantastic day we have had! First of all thank you to all the parents who came in for stay and learn. Today is MISSION DAY we have been looking at religion in action through 3 sessions…
Firstly the children looked at 3 quotes from the Gospel, they discussed what the quote meant, what it meant to them directly and finally they described which their favourite was and provided reasoning why. Lastly they designed a picture that represented that quote.
After this they created a poster to show all of their information on Pic Collage, J25 or on Sugar paper.
Session 2: The children looked at 2 other quotes from John the Baptist, they discussed again what it meant and a scenario of which they could act which would show what the quote/John would want us to take from it. These have been uploaded to the class seesaw pages.
Session 3: The children discussed what their ‘special gift’ was. They presented their special gift as will as thinking about how they could share their gifts with others on the chrome books.
Please take a look at some work below.
