Why just read about data logging when you can create your own? Using micro:bits, our Year 4 students became real-world data scientists for the day—and the results were fantastic!
The children programmed their micro:bits to collect data on light and temperature, then explored our outdoor area in search of the brightest, hottest, coolest, and darkest spots. The hands-on experience brought science and coding to life, and the sense of achievement was huge. Every child could see the outcome of their work and draw their own conclusions from the data they collected.
A brilliant day of learning, discovery, and fun!
