Happy Friday everyone!
We have had another busy week of learning in Year 4 this week. We have been so impressed with the progress in our violin lessons that the children have made; the children have begun to play in unison and have an increased understanding the importance of staying on the given beat.
In Current Affairs, the children have been engrossed in all things Europe. Our new Geography topic is “Our European Neighbours” and the ongoing Euros 2020 have been at the forefront of our Writing lessons. We have started to report on the Euros matches by analysing newspaper reports and highlight videos of key matches. We can’t wait to see which teams come out on top with the Euros in full flight!
In Maths, the children continued wiith their work on ‘money’, which coincided with ‘Money Week’. The children acted as shopkeepers on the playground, calculating the cost of items and also giving change.
We hope that you have a lovely weekend.
Mr. Prescott and Miss. Doherty
