This week in Little Gems the children have been learning all about Christmas and the importance behind it. The children have been learning all about the birth of Jesus. We went to the school chapel where we looked at the Nativity scene and spoke about the different people and animals they could see. As we left the chapel the children noticed the angel statue standing in the corner with Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus and the Three Kings on the outfit.
The children have enjoyed the many different Christmas activities we have had out.
Some of the children enjoyed going to the Christmas Shop hosted by our fantastic PFA. The children were able to buy from a range of different gifts for the people they love.
We also celebrated by having our Christmas party. There was dancing, eating and drinking juice. All the children and adults had a wonderful time celebrating the special time that is Christmas.
