Year 3 had an amazing time experiencing Stone Age homes using our VR headsets. The children were able to get a feel for the size of the homes lived in during the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age.
They were also able to see the materials that would have been used and how constructuion may have taken place.
We also looked at how homes in Ancient Britain evolved during this time before designing the type of ancient home we would like to live in the most. Iron Age homes were a clear winner – they had developed roads, hillfots AND ovens to bake bread!
The children loved using the VR headsets and we are super excited to bring even more of the curriculum to life using these!
