We have been so happy to see all of our wonderful children back in school this week; it has been great to catch up with one another.
The children have worked extremely hard getting back into their routine this week, and we are so impressed with how resilient they have been to settling back into school life.
We managed to get out and enjoy the sunshine in our English lessons and Art and Design lessons this week. The children have been using their senses to write setting and character descriptions and have been busy producing artistic masterpieces!
Scary fractions? Not for Year 4! Both classes have embraced fraction work with positive attitudes all week – keep it up!
We have also been busy researching current affair headlines this week with a particular focus on the famous interview by Harry and Meghan, vaccine passports and Brentford FC’s decision to stop taking the knee before their games.
We appreciate everything that parents and guardians have been doing since Christmas for Year 4, and we hope you have enjoyed this week of normality returning! A special mention to those in mothering roles as we wish you a Happy Mother’s Day on Sunday! We hope you get spoilt!
A special mention to our stars of the week;
Blue Class: Arthur & Dina
Sapphire Class: Marlow & Jessica
