And so, we come to the end of another week. I cannot believe we are past half term and on the road to Christmas. This week, I enjoyed my long promised hot chocolate and buns with our amazing Year 2 football team, who recently won an Islington schools competition. It was a delightful experience to hear children discuss their tactics, the highs and lows of the tournament, which school teams they felt were strong etc. I had to remind myself at times I was having the discussion with Year 2 children! They shared with me their mantra that ‘teamwork makes the dream work’ – such wise words from those so young!!! I even suggested being their manager and they said they would offer me £100. I’ll certainly give this some consideration!
I am delighted to see many of you at the Class Masses, Assemblies and Prayer Services recently and look forward to the many events in the coming weeks. Year 4 get the chance to see ‘Cinderella’ in the West End next Wednesday and by all accounts…including Mr. Javed, it is a show not to be missed!
The Book Fair is in school from today until next Thursday so please come and visit. There is an amazing selection of wonderful books and remember that every book you purchase helps our school library too.
Until next week, have a lovely weekend
