It has been a great week in Year 4!
In English we have been focusing on setting descriptions of Narnia. Over the past few weeks we have been learning about the different types of sentences we can write to help us to describe a place. Next week our hard work and planning will pay off when we write our final pieces. In preparation for this we also carried out a ‘hot seating’ task, interviewing Lucy to explore how she would have been feeling when she entered Narnia. We used our chrome books to write up interesting questions and then scripted Lucy’s replies.
We have also been practising for our Harvest production this week. We have been learning our lines and singing our songs, as well as thinking about all the things God has given us. We are really looking forward to the big performance on Tuesday!
Remember to check out our library blog to find out about all the Reading we are doing at St Joseph’s.
