This morning, our pupil chaplains proudly represented the school at Mass in St. Joseph’s Church for Education Sunday. It was a special occasion where we came together as a community to celebrate the gift of learning and the important role of education in our lives.
During the Mass, Father Tommy reminded us of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross. He encouraged us to keep the cross close to our hearts, as a daily reminder of Jesus’ love for each of us. Father Tommy spoke about how the Passionists reflect on Jesus every day, and he drew the children’s attention to the Passionist emblem on their school uniforms. He explained that this symbol, marked with the cross, invites us to live in love, just as Jesus loved us.
It was lovely to see many of our other children in the congregation with their families, as well as members of staff. As always, we are very proud of our pupils for their participation and for representing our school so beautifully on this special day!
