This week, children in Year 5 were treated to a workshop from volunteers the The Postal Museum. Below is a review written by a Year 5 child and some videos showing the experience. Enjoy!
The Postal Museum Review
On 20th March 2017, the Code Breakers Team came to our school. We thoroughly enjoyed the workshop because it was interactive and we were involved in activities from start to finish. We particularly liked the challenge of breaking the code on the padlock and enjoyed the pressure of having a time limit. Other challenges included putting together something as though we were the engineers and understanding how the different parts were connected. We felt totally immersed in the experience. You successfully made us feel like we were in the Second World War and we were the code breakers and were needed to make a code and solve it.You gave us steps from the beginning to the end. You showed us how important it was to be a code breaker at the time in the second world war.
