This week has been a wonderfully creative week in Year 6.
As part of Refugee Week, we read two wonderful stories: The Journey and Swallow’s Kiss. On Thursday, we joined other ‘Get Islington Reading’ schools for a live lesson with both the author and illustrator of Swallow’s Kiss, and made our own lovely wish-birds containing our wishes for the future.
Sadly, the Highgate festival has been postponed due to Government restrictions.
However, our wonderful clay sculptures based on Antony Gormley’s – The Field, will be being used for an art project in the near future.
