Year 3 have enjoyed ‘Arty Friday’ afternoon, taking inspiration from Chinese opera masks to design our own masks. We are looking forward to choosing our favourite designs to create our own masks to wear in the coming weeks!
Some Year 3 children also braved the cold, icy weather this week to take part in the Islington Bikeability Scheme. They had lots of fun developing their cycling proficiency and becoming more confident cyclists. The final session for those children who took part on Thursday will now take place on Monday 28th January – please make sure you remember your bike and helmet!
We have been grappling with the ‘chunking’ method in maths to divide bigger numbers. We have found this quite tricky and will continue to practise next week. Please keep practising your times tables as this will help our division work next week.
Finally please join our classes at St. Joseph’s and St. Gabriel’s on Friday 1st February for First Friday Mass.
