This week the Year 1 children have been exploring, comparing and measuring capacity! The children have enjoyed the outdoor practical hands on activities – especially in the sunny weather! We are learning the meaning of the terms full, half full, empty, nearly empty etc as well as having a go at measuring the volume in various containers in millilitres and litres!
