HO! HO! HO!
What a week in Year 4!
Christmas is in the air and the children are on their best behaviour! They even got a visit from Santa on Monday! Year 4 were so grateful to receive such beautiful board games – they are currently praying for rain so that they can use them during wet play! We would like to extend our thanks to the PFA for their generosity.
The children recorded their Christmas carols today in the hall and we expect the phone call from Simon Cowell any day now with a record deal. Well done everyone!
In writing lessons, we are still working hard researching New Zealand’s response to Covid-19 with the children continuing to write informal letters to their pen pal, Jordan.
On Monday, Year 4 were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to take part in a football session during our PE lesson. The children were coached by members of the Arsenal in the Community coaching team. The children showed excellent effort and, on current form, might even get a call up from Arteta himself for the first team! We look forward to continuing the sessions in the New Year.
Finally, the children have also been so grateful to everybody who has bought one of our class Christmas Crafts! Remember, they are still available for sale via Parent Pay.
Have a lovely weekend and we look forward to seeing everyone for a magical week next week!
