This week in Nursery we have been extremely busy developing our Expressive Arts and Design skills. We started the week exploring with different autumnal objects and creating some transient art masterpieces. Children paid attention to detail arranging the autumnal leaves, conkers, twigs and pine cones within their frame.
We also painted some beautiful red poppies in recognition of Remembrance Sunday which is next week. We finished our week creating some spectacular firework drawings using chalk and glitter and talked about this weekend’s Guy Fawkes Night. As well as our brilliant exploration of colour we showed fantastic fine motor skills in being able to draw straight lines for our fireworks.
